The 132. Infanterie-Division was formed in October 1940 near Landshut from elements of 263. Infanterie-Division, 268. Infanterie-Division and the non-motorized elements of 27. Infanterie-Division. It surrendered to the Soviet Red Army in Courland at the end of the war.
