About 30 Swedish volunteers served in this regiment.

Note. This unit history covers the Continuation War unit with this name, there was no continuity between similarly numbered regiments during in the Winter War and Continuation War.

In fiction

The 2004 Finnish-Swedish movie "Framom främsta linjen" ("Etulinjan edessä" in Finnish) directed by Åke Lindman was based on the diaries kept by members of this unit. It was the first Swedish language war movie made in Finland.
