Formed in 1941 in Goražde, a town on the Drina River ESE of Sarajevo. In December 1941 it controlled 200 militia in Goražde and several surrounding villages. A German report dated 6 Sep 43 claimed that the Moslem Militia Detachment in Goražde and the villages immediately southwest of the town numbered about 1,000 men who were largely in sympathy with the Partisans and may have defected without a fight on or about this date. No further information has been found. (1)
