Date of formation unknown. The medium size town of Virovitica is located in Slavonia about half way between Varaždin and Osijek On 1 September 1944 it had “an armed militia” of 304 officers and men that could have been either Domobran volunteers or Ustasha civilians or overage Ustasha reservists. Since its true designation is not known, the name “Domdo Company Virovitica” has been assigned as an expedient. (1)
