Domdo Company Trnovo (Croatia)

Date of formation unknown. Trnovo is located 30 km SSE of Sarajevo in East Bosnia. The personnel were all Moslem. First identified 15 January 1943 in Trnovo under Croatian 5th Division/III Corps. By 14 April it was noted as being assigned to German 369. Inf.Div. (kroat.) for tactical purposes. Partisans from the 1st Proletarian Assault Division overran and captured Trnovo 27-31 July 1943 and the Company was dispersed after taking heavy losses. In October 1943 the survivors were rounded up and disarmed due to unreliability and suspected disloyalty. (1)
