Formed 21 August 1943 in Sarajevo with Group HQ (new), HQ Battery (new), 1st Battery (ex-3d Battery/XI Artillery Group) and 2d Battery (ex-Recruit Battery/XI Artillery Group). Assigned to the 4th Jäger Brigade. (1)

Operational History

10 Oct 43: Sarajevo and still in formation, but 2d Battery had been completed and transferred to Banja Luka.
9 Nov 43: Group now operational and in position in Banja Luka, Ivanjska and Omarska.
28 Jul 44: Banja Luka.
16 Sep 44: Banja Luka but now under 3d Mountain Brigade. The Group is not mentioned again in the surviving documents and is believed to have been destroyed when Partisan V Corps attacked and took the city on 18 September.
