Formed 21 August 1943 in Sarajevo with Group HQ (new), HQ Battery (new), 1st Battery (ex-mountain gun battery/II Mountain Brigade) and 2d Battery (ex-2d Battery/XI Artillery Group). Assigned to the 2d Mountain Brigade. (1)

Operational History

1 Mar 44: stationed in Sarajevo.
4 Sep 44: Sarajevo and still there on 21 November.
1 Dec 44: believed to have remained under 2d Mountain Brigade, which became a component of the new 9th Croatian Mountain Division this date.
