Formed 21 August 1943 in Slavonski Brod with a Group HQ (new), HQ Battery (new) and 1st Battery (ex-1st Battery/IV Artillery Group) and 2d Battery (ex-2d Battery/VI Artillery Group). Assigned to 3d Jäger Brigade. (1)

Operational History

15 Aug 44: Group at Petrovaradin in cadre-only strength under II Replacement Brigade.
Oct 44: reported to be in the process of rebuilding at Petrovaradin and not yet ready to return to operations under 3d Jäger Brigade.
1 Dec 44: reassigned to the new 3d Croatian Infantry Division (HQ in Vinkovci) as its divisional artillery.
