Formed 21 August 1943 in Osijek and Ruma with Group HQ (new), HQ Battery (new), 1st Battery (ex-1st Battery/V Artillery Group) and 2d Battery (ex-3d Battery/IV Artillery Group). (1)

Operational History

Oct 43: Group in Petrovaradin with one battery in Osijek.
Feb 44: transferred, and now in Derventa assigned to the 1st Jäger Brigade.
27 Jun 44: 2d Battery in Derventa under 4th Jäger Rgt./1st Jäger Brigade. The rest of the Group was in Slavonski Brod as a “cadre only” formation attached to the II Replacement Brigade.
15 Aug 44: unchanged from 27 June, only 2d Battery now stationed in Doboj. By this date the Group had lost its separate identity and no further mention of it has been found in the surviving records.
