Operational History

Dec 41: Group HQ now in Zagreb with batteries deployed in West Bosnia attached to 2d Infantry Division.
28 Jan – 2 Feb 42: following a transfer to East Bosnia, batteries now in support of Operation “Ozren” in the Tuzla – Doboj – Zavidovici triangle.
Jun 42: 1st Battery in Bos. Dubica for Operation “West-Bosnien.”
12-19 Oct 42: Group elements took part in Operation “Kozara.”
27 Feb 43: 3d Battery from Osijek participated in Operation “Grün” in the Krndija and Dilj Mountains.
14 Apr 43: HQ, 3d and 4th (HQ) Batteries in Doboj, 1st Battery in Derventa and 2d Battery in formation - Group under Croatian II Corps and tactically under German 369. Inf. Div.
21 Aug 43: reorganized at Ostrožac into a HQ, HQ Battery and 1st and 2d Batteries for assignment to 2d Jäger Brigade. Remained in Ostrožac, less 1st Battery in Osijek, until the beginning of 1944 when the Group was removed from 2d Jäger Brigade.
12 Apr 44: all or elements identified in the Pakrac – Lipik area in support of 4th Mountain Brigade.
1 Dec 44: reassigned to the new 4th Croatian Infantry Division and attached to 7th Jäger Brigade (HQ in Bos. Novi) for support. This remained unchanged through Feb 45 and probably to the end of the war.
