Formed between August and October 1941. (1)
Nov 41: at Sisak under I Corps in a strength of 680.
Jun 42: 3d Company participated in Operation “West-Bosnien.”
Oct 42: 4th Co. stationed in Kostajnica.
Dec 42: HQ and 1st – 3d Co. in Sisak with 4th Co. now in Bos. Novi.
20 Jun 43: HQ, 1st, 2d, 3d and Replacement Co. all in Sisak under I Corps.
27 Aug 43: unchanged from 20 Jun 43.
7 Dec 43: unchanged from 20 Jun 43.
Jan 44: Sisak and now tactically under German 1. Kosaken-Div.
1 Jun 44: Sisak in a strength of at least 359 officers and men.
31 Aug 44: Battalion operating in the Karlovac – Zagreb area, but its HQ is believed to have still been at Sisak. No further information after this date and by the end of November 1944 it had been dissolved and its assets distributed to other units.
