Formed early 1943 in the Zagreb area to guard the railway line to the northeast of Zagreb. (1)

2 Mar 43: Battalion HQ arrived in Križevci on or about this date to begin its duties under I Corps.
May 43: Battalion HQ in Križevci.
Aug 43: Battalion HQ in Križevci with 1st – 4th Co.
10 Dec 43: Battalion HQ in Križevci, 1st Co. in Zagreb, 2d Co. in Križevci, 3d Co. in Samobor and 4th Co. in Bjelovar. Under I Corps.
12 Apr 44: unchanged from 10 December 1943. The Battalion is not identified after this date and it is believed to have been incorporated into the 1st Garrison Brigade during April.
