Formed fall 1942 in Zenica to guard the railway line between Bosanski Brod and Sarajevo. (1)

May 43: Battalion HQ in Zenica.
Sep 43: Bn. HQ in Zenica with 1st – 5th Co. under Railway Security Sector D - Bn. deployed along the track section between Begov Han (Golubinja)/15 km SSW of Zavidovići and Sarajevo. Battalion said to be at 100% of authorized strength.
4 Sep 44: Bn. HQ in Zenica with 1st – 5th Co. under Railway Security Sector D - Bn. deployed along the track section Zenica – Visoko – Semizovac – Lašva.
7-12 Sep 44: 3 companies belonging to this battalion are said to have deserted to the Partisans.
1 Dec 44: Bn. HQ in Zenica - incorporated into the 16th (Domobran) Infantry Brigade/15th Croatian Infantry Division on or about this date.
