Formed fall 1942, probably in Zagreb, to guard the railway line between Zagreb and Zemun, and between Bosanski Brod and Sarajevo. (1)

Nov 42: Dugo Selo/21 km E of Zagreb in formation; 4th Co. in Kutina.
10 Apr 43: 22 men from the Battalion who were guarding the train station in Popovača/56 km SE of Zagreb were captured by the Partisans this date.
2-3 Jul 43: Bn. elements took part in Operation “Cyrill” in the Ivanić-Grad area.
4-6 Jul 43: Bn. elements participated in Operation “Ivan” in the Moslavačka Mountains.
Sep 43: HQ in Ivanić-Grad/35.5 km ESE of Zagreb with 1st – 4th Co. assigned to Railway Security Sector A. Said to be at 78% of its authorized strength.
Sep 44: responsible for the track section between Dugo Selo and Ivanić-Grad.
1 Dec 44: HQ in Ivanić-Grad with 1st – 4th Co. - reassigned to the newly formed 19th (Domobran) Infantry Brigade/14th Croatian Infantry Division on or about this date.
