Formed first half of November 1944 in Bos. Novi from the remnants of the disbanded 4th Jäger Brigade. (1)

Operational History

1944

22-23 Nov 44: I Bn. lost 25 killed, 10 wounded and 5 captured in defense of Zamlača near Dvor, which was taken by elements of the 7th Assault Division NOVJ.
1 Dec 44: assigned to the 4th Croatian Infantry Division.
Dec 44: in formation in the Bos. Novi area and deployed along the Una River between Bos. Novi and Kostajnica.

22-23 Jan 45: Brigade lost 2 killed, 4 wounded and 19 captured in defense of Zamlača, which was stormed and taken for a second time by two brigades from the 7th Assault Division NOVJ.
Feb 45: composition and locations virtually unchanged from 31 December and remained so until 24 April 1945.
Feb – Apr 45: little action of significance as the Partisans built up their forces in preparation for the final offensive in April.
May 45: Brigade destroyed at the beginning of May.
