Formed in early August 1941 in Gračac as a small, composite tactical formation set up to crush the initial outbreak of armed resistance in the Lika region. (1)
Operational History
18 Aug 41: Brigade began operations from Gračac in Lika, pushing northeast along the road toward Gornji Lapac. The forces under its command this date included II Bn./1st Infantry Rgt. and a cavalry squadron. Nothing more is known about this brigade, but it is not believed to have existed much past the beginning of September.
