Place and date of formation are not known with certainty, but Zagreb is the most likely place. On 1 October 1942 the Bn. HQ and 1st Co. were in Zagreb. There were no other companies and no further information has been found, but it was probably disbanded in 1943 and its personnel used to replenish other Ustasha units in the Zagreb area. The date has to do with the forming of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes on 1 December 1918 and the first Croatian opposition to this new kingdom. (1)
