Formed in Constanţa in Romania on 12 January 1944 for the operational leadership of all German Forces in the Black Sea with the exception of Unterseeboote & Schnellboote. At the same time, the Division Chief was also Geleitchef Schwarzes Meer & deutscher Chef des Stabes der rumänischen Seestreitkräfte. The Division was dissolved on 21 June 1944
