The 352. Volksgrenadier-Division was formed in Schleswig-Holstein in September 1944 from the partially formed 581. Volksgrenadier-Division. It was sent to the Western Front in November 1944 and fought at the Eifel, Ardennes and Rhineland. It was destroyed in March 1945 and reformed as a Kampfgruppe the following month.

Known war crimes

Soldiers from the division killed at least two civilians in the Belgian village of Tandel 16 December 1944 during the fighting in the Ardennes. (1)
