Infanterie-Division Potsdam

The Infanterie-Division Potsdam was formed 29 March 1945 from training and replacement units at Truppenübungsplatz Döberitz based around a cadre from the destroyed 85. Infanterie-Division, it was also briefly designated 85. Infanterie-Division before being given the name Potsdam. It was destroyed in the Harz mountains in April 1945.
Surviving elements of the division were used to form a Füsilier-Bataillon in Infanterie-Division Scharnhorst.
