The military headquarter of the Wehrmachtbevollmächtigter how it was called officially was an equivalent command to the so-called Wehrmachtbefehlshaber like it was established in various occupied countries. Occasionally and through the years the headquarter was called also Wehrmachtbefehlshaber beim Reichsprotektor in Böhmen und Mähren as well as Wehrmachtbefehlshaber beim deutschen Staatsminister in Böhmen und Mähren. The designation „Bevollmächtigter“ was choosen to have a proper term for this staff within the complex structure of the new Reichsprotektorat, where a gouvernment and the office of the German Reichsprotektor existed also. The headquarter and the designation were meant to denote nothing else than the Wehrmacht-Plenipotentiary (or Representative of the Wehrmacht) in Bohemia and Moravia. The commander simultaneously held the position of the Befehlshaber im Wehrkreis Böhmen und Mähren.
