Formed October 1942 from a contingent of 3,600 Croatian recruits and immediately transported by train to the training camp at Stockerau in Austria. Formation was never completed and the Brigade was disbanded at Stockerau in spring 1943 and all assigned personnel were incorporated into the new 373d German-Croatian Legion Division. (1)
