352. Infanterie-Division

The 352. Infanterie-Division was formed in Normandy from the disbanded 321. Infanterie-Division. It was destroyed in the fighting in Normandy in July 1944.
Heinrich Severloh inflicted a large number of casualties on the US forces landing on Omaha Beach from a machine gun emplacement known as “Widerstandsnest 62” and was nicknamed the "Beast of Omaha Beach".
