Russian Guard Corps (Serbia)

The Russkiy Okhranniy Korpus (Russian Guard Corps or Russian Defence Corps) was formed on 12 September 1941 in Belgrade as Otdel'niy Russkiy Korpus (Russian Corps). It was however soon renamed Russkiy Okhranniy Korpus. It was made up of Russians living in Serbia and the neighboring nations.
It was taken over by the Wehrmacht 30 November 1942 and renamed Russisches Schutzkorps and later Russisches Schutzkorps Serbien.
This unit took part in anti-partisan operations in Croatia.
