The Waffen-Gebirgsjäger-Regiment der SS (tatarische) (in some sources listed as the Tataren-Gebirgsjäger-Regiment der SS) was formed from the remaining Schutzmannschaft Bataillone made up of Crimean tatar volunteers. It saw action in the Crimea together with the Romanian 10. Infantry Division and Romanian 19. Infantry Division.
It was upgraded to Waffen-Gebirgs-Brigade der SS (Tatarische Nr. 1).
